Jia Qi Ru Meng is the entry model of the Dashi (Master) series — for students moving from graded exams toward performance, and for training studios that need dependable teaching instruments.
The tonal direction is set by the series supervisor. Soundboard and bridge matching follow one standard, and every instrument is play-tested after assembly. The price is lower; the build standard is not.
The voice is bright and immediate: presses and glissandos answer clearly, which is exactly what left-hand technique training needs. The volume suits home practice without disturbing neighbours and still carries a small recital room.
Keep it out of long periods of direct sun. Wiping the strings before and after practice keeps dust out of the string slots, where it can unsettle tuning stability.

Buying advice: this model is listed at CNY 7300, which is the entry price in the range of the 7 models in the Master series (prices run CNY 7300 to CNY 28000).Qingsun (CNY 10000) is the next step up and is worth comparing if your budget is close. Bulk pricing is explained in How to order.
FAQ: Is the "Master Series" made personally by a master? The series is assembled and voiced under senior luthiers, with critical steps completed by experienced technicians and cross-checked by several players before release. We do not inflate this with personal names — the standard is the actual assembly process.
Suitable for: the Master series spans teaching through performance, suited to training-centre lessons, conservatory teaching and personal advancement. My teacher recommended this series, saying it is good value. The strings feel a little soft under the fingers, so a child can press them without strain, there is a slight difference between the colour and the website, but it is acceptable, five stars!
Better than I expected, I have recommended it to friends.
I had been watching this shop for a long time, and finally ordered, I took it to a lesson, and my teacher said the tone was good too. The string spacing is even, the octaves are true, and it barely needs adjusting, the crate was very large, and I could not move it on my own. Very happy with it!
Compared with my last one, the difference was obvious straight away. The tuning pins are set just right, neither loose nor stiff. I would recommend it!
This is my second purchase here, and the feel is just as I remembered. No extra microphone is needed at performances, and the back rows can hear it.
A friend recommended them, she said hers has given no trouble in three years, the edges are finished very cleanly, with no rough spots. A friend heard it at my place, and asked where I bought it!
I bought it because a well-known teacher oversaw it, and it did not disappoint, the resonance is better than I expected, and it holds up on something like Fighting the Typhoon, they sent me a video of the actual instrument before shipping, which put my mind at rest!
This is the first instrument I have bought at this price, and once it arrived I felt reassured, after-sales rang me to check it had arrived, which is rare, the grain on the soundboard looks natural, the finish is thin, and you can tell it was applied by hand. I'll be back!
The tone is far more open than my last instrument, the bridges are smoothed off nicely, and do not catch your hand when you shift position. This much workmanship at this price, there is nothing to find fault with, I'd buy again!
I read through the reviews before buying, and it was not a mistake, the tuning holds very steadily, two months of playing and it has barely drifted. At this price it holds its own against anything!
The workmanship is exquisite, satisfied with it, I'll be back.
